I’m a Corporate Lawyer with a strong focus on business law, mergers, acquisitions, and international trade. My career journey
My career journey in law began with a deep interest in how systems work and the role law plays in shaping society. After completing my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), I went on to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in Corporate Law, which allowed me to focus on business law, contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and international trade.
Upon finishing my studies, I started working at a reputable law firm where I gained valuable experience handling corporate transactions, contract negotiations, and compliance issues. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work on large-scale mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on the legal aspects of business growth and restructuring.
Along the way, I realized the importance of mentorship in the legal field. As I worked with senior lawyers, I received guidance that not only shaped my technical expertise but also helped me develop as a professional. This experience inspired me to become a mentor, guiding younger professionals through the complexities of corporate law and helping them navigate the challenges they face early in their careers.
Now, as a Corporate Lawyer, I continue to work on intricate legal issues in the corporate sector while also dedicating time to mentoring, sharing my experiences, and helping others develop their careers in law. My journey has been driven by a passion for helping businesses thrive legally and empowering the next generation of legal professionals to succeed.

My mentorship approach focuses on practical learning, open communication, and professional growth. I start by understanding my mentee’s goals and tailoring guidance to their needs. I emphasize hands-on experience, encouraging real-world tasks like drafting contracts and researching case law to build confidence. Constructive feedback and soft skills development, including communication, negotiation, and critical thinking, are key aspects of my approach. I also encourage self-reflection and goal-setting to ensure continuous growth. Above all, I strive to create a supportive and positive relationship, where mentees feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
My mentorship preference
I prefer mentoring university students who are starting their legal careers or those transitioning into corporate law. These individuals often have a foundational understanding of law and are looking for guidance to navigate the complexities of the legal profession, particularly in corporate settings.
That being said, I’m also open to mentoring high school students interested in pursuing law, helping them understand what a legal career entails and the steps they need to take to succeed in the field. Ultimately, I enjoy mentoring those who are eager to learn and grow, regardless of their academic level.
My availability
I am available for mentorship during the following times:
Weekdays: 5 PM to 7 PM
Saturdays: 9 AM to 12 PM
Sundays: By arrangement, depending on availability
I am flexible with virtual meetings and can adjust my schedule to accommodate mentees who may have specific time preferences.
Why I want to be a mentor
I signed up to be a mentor because I’m passionate about giving back to the legal community and helping the next generation of legal professionals navigate their careers.
