Brief description of the role

Key Account Managers are responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with the company’s most valuable clients. They act as the main point of contact, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and that they are satisfied with the goods and services that company offers. KAMs are required to understand the client’s business goals, address any challenges or issues the client is facing , and finding opportunities for growth. This involves both customer relationship management—building trust and loyalty—and business development, where they work to expand the partnership by offering new solutions or services that benefit the client. Essentially, a KAM combines customer care with strategic thinking to drive long-term success for both the client and the company.

Key responsibilities and day to day tasks of the job

– Regularly communicate with key retail accounts (large retailers or strategic partners)
-Address client concerns and provide solutions suitable to the clients’s needs.
-Monitor sales performance on each assigned key account and develop sales plans or promotional strategies to increase revenue
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional planswith the retailers.
-Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback and address issues of concern.
-Ensure on-time delivery, accurate stock levels, and proper merchandising
Coordinate promotional campaigns or in-store activities
-Prepare sales presentations and product proposals
-Maintaining CRM systems and administrative procedures for assigned accounts.
