"Empowering Futures, One Connection at a Time."
As a tour guide intern, my main responsibility is to support the senior guides in delivering engaging, educational, and safe tours for visitors exploring the park’s walking trails, wildlife habitats, and eco-friendly facilities. I assist with setting up daily tour routes, checking equipment like binoculars and first aid kits, and welcoming guests as they arrive.
During the tours, I help share information about local wildlife, plant species, and conservation efforts in a way that’s easy to understand and exciting for visitors of all ages. I also assist with managing group dynamics, answering questions, and making sure that everyone sticks to the park’s environmental guidelines.
Behind the scenes, I help with preparing educational materials, updating signage along trails, and monitoring tourist feedback to improve the overall visitor experience. I also support the admin team occasionally—logging visitor numbers, helping with bookings, or assisting during special events like school visits or community clean-up days.
